Traditionally Ash Wednesday starts us on the journey of Lent where we prepare our hearts mind and bodies to receive Christ. As you prepare to go to Peru this summer you too must prepare your heart, mind and body to go. Here is one book we recommend you read "Adam God's Beloved" by Henri Nouwen. This book will not only prepare you for Peru but is an excellent book for those who wish to know and love people with different abilities.
